Torrentes is born from the crossing of sculpture and interactive design. The project proposes thinking of sculpture as an interface: a sensitive body capable of activating relationships between presence, movement and data, exploring the dialogue between the plastic arts and the digital image in real time. Rather than separating matter and technology, Torrentes integrates them inside a single perceptual system, where ceramic acts as body-matrix and interaction as a current that sets it back into motion. The gesture of moving the hands over the sculpture immediately triggers an animation that responds to those variations of presence and movement, establishing a feedback loop between body, object and image.
